I heard of a story. A teacher gave students 4 maths. problems as homework. One of them can solve three easily. But it is difficult to him to solve the last one. He didn't know how to do it, thought carefully and found the answer at the midnight. He spent a lot of time to make it and felt ashamed. Next day he sent his homework to teacher and it made the teacher surprise. Because the student solved a difficult problem. The teacher made a mistake write this problem on blackboard. A lot of reason can cause failure. Maybe it is not weak or low IQ. if the students knew that it was a difficult problem he would fear. Sometimes unknowing is a precious fortune.

Ya you are right.unknowing can be a precious fortune and in this case it is pretty obvious. If the teacher declared in the class itself that it is a difficult problem the student would not have tried that hard or he would have taken it for granted that the problem cannot be solved by him as it is difficult. We often tend to try less for difficult problems in life thinking that they cannot be solved but if we dont know that they are difficult we strive very hard to solve them.

If the student solved the difficult maths. problem know this is a very difficult problem, even the best mathmatician can't solve it ,he usually lost his confidence. And he will fail. we always think we mustn't achieve the goal,as soon as we feel fear.

Many people fear the unknown and spend lot of time just thinking about what will happen . How things will turn out whereas most of the time the worst that has been thought and the agony and the pain associated with that has been borne but the worst does'nt happen. So save your worries and [pain till you actually come across the worst rather than living it in your dreams .because this dream may not come true .
