it is amazing that no response from any mylot friend in India

Your idea is good. Frankly I never saw such discussion. Usually people are busy and try to post for discussions which they can find easily, like me. I go to 'friend's started' and post response for three or four discussions, that appear on the screen, if I feel like, I will go to some particular person's profile and answer one or two of their discussions then come out of mylot. No time to sit beyond. Usually whenever I go to friends' started, your discussions will be on the first page, that is why I answer many of your discussions. I do not know how I missed this particular discussion. Secondly, South India itself is a vast region. Just to participate in mylot get together, do you mean to say people will leave their engagements and travel out of station? Think over my friend. I am ready to attend if it is in bangalore but not in Hyderabad or chennai.

Hi there yugasini, I am sorry that I have not seen your discussion. See the problem is you might have posted it in a forum, where I would not normally visit. As a south Indian, I would have definitely responded back to you, if I had seen the post.

Hi, I am from INDIA, I am a Bengali and I presently reside in Mumbai! I am not a regular visitor my-lot, so may be that's why I did not notice your discussion. Can you just tell me the discussion title again, so That I can post a response there, If you don't mind. It will be a good idea to share thoughts with native people once in a while but mostly my-lot has members from all around the world, so can't do it frequently.

Definitely no. Maybe they are quite not ready yet for another round of discussions. I believe that time will come that they will come back soon.

No your mistake is trying to post to a target audience! In mylot when you post you are trying to get as many responses as you can. So you want to try to appeal your post to a general audience that will have an interest in your subject matter! If I ask " how many people like the mayor of Detroit Michigan? and Why?" Then how many people do I have a chance of responding to my post? You are doing that! There are many members at mylot but not that many are active all the time! A lot of them (myself included don;t search for old posts! I only go for the current posts! So this makes your post very limited to a small audience! tdemex

Hello, I am here with mylot for many months and I didn't see your discussion. It is a good idea, but people working in social networking websites wear a mask and soemtimes they may not want to come out of it. But, it will never become an obstacle for helping each other in mylot. Congrats to your intiative in this program.

Hi yugasini, I think you have a wrong concept that you do not get response from Indian mylotters. I have been here for the past 7 months and every time I start a discussion there are responses from the Indian users. Some time the number might be less but this is not without any. Even I have tried posting topic in on India and there were several responses. And you know there are thousands of Indian users here at mylot.
