what music do you prefer to listen? rock or love songs?

Hello, my preference is rock and heavy metal. I do also listen to different genres since I was a music composition major. Only type of music I don't usually listen to is country though I will admit some country musicians are talented but it is not a priority.

I would definitely have to say love songs. I like some rock songs but love songs are my fave.

I like listening to both.

when i was young i loved rock songs full of heavy music and loud noises but as i grew up my taste changed and now i have shifted to love songs which are soft and melodious too. full of meanings and feeling as well. they make me feel fresh and away from the worldly disputes and problems. listening to music feels as if i am in a new world.

My favorite Reggae. But as a musician, I have to listen to all genres.

I prefer both because both are of two style,mood and attitude.Humans never have the same mood all day along,during an date sure you won't like listen to rock ,there may be people but would lack in majority.In an enjoying style too the love songs come handy but not as good as it would with a rock version.Music for every occasion i.e why we call music ,MUSIC.

I think anybody who listens to any genre of music should at least expose him/herself to more than just their favorite type of music. For instance i know plenty of kids my age who listen solely to classic rock, but they dont open up to anything else and say that every other genre is garbage. But as a true lover of music i can listen to almost any genre of music and find something to enjoy. Like alot of people absolutely hate country music, and i used to be in total agreement with them, but when i started to gain more maturity i began to listen a little deeper and found that country music can, despite common thought (haha), be enjoyed. I cant say that i have a favorite genre. It sort of changes every few weeks/months, but if i had to choose which one i've enjoyed for the longest period of time i would have to say folk music. Well, like contemporary folk/folk rock, not what most people think of when they hear folk music(classical folk). but yea thats about all i have to say about that.
