What would you do after the end of civilization?

After first watching Discovery channel's new reality show "The Colony" I can't stop thinking (fantasizing almost) about how I would act if I were put in a similar situation. If you had the choice of where you would want to try to live after the end, where would it be? And "the end" could be anything really: nuclear apocalypse, biological outbreak, zombie infestation. How, where, and with who would you try to live out the end of days?

I LOVE this show. the first place I would head though would be for the wilderness, after garnishing supplies of course. This is more where I would prbably be able to survive, off the land, I think I'd be lost in an urban setting. I'd want a lot of land, a lot of woods and fresh water supply. The rest can all be garnished off those three things.

The wilderness wouldn't be a bad place, but it would offer little protection from the elements/crazy people/etc.
I think the place where I would go would be a Home Depot or a Lowe's or some other sort of home improvement place. I'm a hands on person so I would love to barricade myself in (with some friends of course) and just turn the whole place into a big playground. That would be sweet..
