stress is a short word but means a lot especially to those who's experiencing change, demand, threat or challenge that requires one to make physical and psychological adjustments... it is normal but if not managed early could be fatal. be mindful of the following manifestations: rapid hearbeat, tensed muscles, quick and shallow breathing, increased blood pressure, increased perspiration, clenched jaw and teeth and inability to sit still. BUT, WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT OUR STRESS. in my case, the following activities help me to manage all my stress: 1. grind exercise 2. yoga 3. aromatheraphy massage Cheers for clean living, healthy lifestyle and positive thinking! HOW ABOUT YOU?

Most time, its my work..with ontime deliveries and work loads. I try to divert mind on music and i feel better. We need to manage stress, as it is part of life in busy world. But if we concentrate, we can manage it. I does it through my yoga, listening music and going out on vacation.

Maybe I can manage stress by going out of the house, enter a church, do some prayers, visit a brother or a friend. I can go to the mall, play a little Bingo just to let the time pass, go window shopping and eat salads at the fastfood. Pass by a fruit stand and go home with some fruits.

thanks to my ps2 that i can manage my stress when i turn it on. i can also manage stress with my wife when i talk with her. we talk everything and anything then she makes stress evaporates. she gives me massage too that can make me feel good. a good cup of coffee too makes my stress dissolve. sometimes there are stress that is easy to get over it and there are stress that takes time before it goes away but its okay when you have someone you can talk with then there is nothing that you can not do.

hi seventhbird, thanks for responding and sharing how you manage your stress. so sweet way of releasing stress..talking it out with your loved one. maybe next time it's your turn too to give her that relaxing aromatheraphy massage and a hot tea to make her feel so good. enjoy and live a stress-free life!

I run to de-stress. I find that running frees me from a world of worry. When I run - all I think about is me and my running - my breathing, my feet, my shoulders, etc. I do occasionally visit a masseuse to get a massage and what-not. However, I only visit when I have money saved up for it or have extra money from the previous paycheck. It's been a while since I visited a masseuse. This economic year has not been good for me (or for anybody, for that matter).

i don't exactly how but when ever i get bored or feel stressed about making new discussions or replying into topics, i would get out of my computer and do other things like watch tv and walk around. probably stretching will do as well

hi letranknight, that's a good start--doing stretching exercise. it's also fine to divert your attention to something else to give your mind, eyes and fingers a break from responding to mylot discussions. goodluck!
