Where's your favourite places to enjoy the weekend?

In my city, here we have lots of Malls, in every sides of the town we can see a Big Mall/ Plaza and we can have everything we want there... but here we dont have a pretty white sands beach... So, i used to spend my weekend at home (watching TV or just relax) or went to the Plaza (watching movies or just have something to eat), even sometimes i would love to go to the beach (but it's outside the city, and i really really have to spend time, if i want to go there)... And what about you? what's your favourite place to enjoy the weekend?

Hi ladydien: my favorite place to spend the weekend is home sweet home. I just love to relax reading a nice book or mostly on the computer responding to mylot and muching on something. I hate to go out because my hometown is very hot and I hate the sun and the heat. There's nothing better for me than being at home without the hazzle of commuting and rushing around.

I don't have a beach near me either, and the only lake nearby has red mud in it that will stain our clothes! But, I love to take my dogs to the park. We play a bit, and then I will grab a book and sit under a tree with my boys by my side. I go to college and can't have my dogs with me so I try to spend as much time with them as I can when I go home.

I enjoy going to the nearby pool or stroll at the mall, eat at the fastfood go grocery shopping or see a friend. If it's not too warm, I'd rather stay at home to play with my grand daughter, watch tv and take a nap.

I am residing away from my parents. Hence, naturally the place for me to enjoy the weekend is my home. Though, I can not go every weekend to my home. If not at home then my second choice to enjoy weekend is visiting some known place with my friends. I am currently in new Delhi where there are so many well known and truly lovely place to wander. And yes, I don't like going to movies and mall regularly...

in fact,i would like to try every kind of place to spend my weekend.but i can hardly do that,pressure from my school work on me,the competition from my classmates.....i think i am too tired,may be i really need to have a rest...

my best place to during weekend is my room. i just stay inside my room and sleep the whole day or browse the internet. i feel so tired to go out after working during weekdays. though i go out too but only if with friends but not often. Mostly we just dine out, watch movie or shopping.
