Where was your last vacation?

I just went to Moon Stone Beach in Cambria, California with my mom to celebrate my birthday. We have made this an annual event. We love the coast and it is so beautiful there. There are two small villages full of all kinds of different shops and restaurants. Cambria offers the best of everything, the beach, shopping and eating. They have a fabulous candy store and we have a lot of favorite shops and restaurants we always go to. It is only about 3 hours away from Fresno, so it's not a long trip. We love it and plan to go again next year. I took my friend this year as well and he loved it too.

My last vacation was held in British Columbia, Canada. We were there mostly just to attend a wedding but we did a bit of site seeing too. We saw Stanley Park...it was neat because there were a bunch of racoons walking beside us...they weren't scared at all; it was cute..

I haven't been on a vacation for ages. Hubby went to Tennessee with my uncle's this past summer. It was a guy trip. I stayed home to take care of my mother. They went to the Smoky Mountains. They had a blast.

Me and my husband flew from Chicago to Manchester, New Hampshire, in July 2004 just for the heck of it. I planned the trip in about 3 days. Luckily he works fort he airlines so we flew free. Then we rented a car and drove to Portland, Maine, and had a lot of fun there. Then after 2 days in Portland we drove south to Massachusetts, went through Salem, stopped at some beach and almost drowned (not kidding), then drove back to Manchester only to realize that there was a NASCAR race that weekend and the price of hotels tripled (we should have known that since we are big NASCAR fans) so we had to drive back to Mass. to find a hotel for the night before we flew home the day before the big race. Oh well. It was fun.
Last real vacation I took before that was my honeymoon to Disney World in January 2000. Other then those we have driven to see family at various times during the year but it isn't very relaxing for me so not much of a vacation. I did spend 8 weeks in Chicago with my dad this summer helping him after surgery.

It sounds like a lovely place and your picture is great.
For my last vacation, my husband and I went to the Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, VA (in the mountains). It was great because the autumn leaves were very colorful and the scenery was gorgeous. The resort has everything and we were so spoiled by the end of the vacation. We were celebrating our first anniversary.

the coast of Maine, between Portland and Bar Harbor. Lots of small islands, lobster boats, pretty much undeveloped. Fun for kayaking, and great fresh seafood to eat everyday.
Moon Stone Beach is a great name, nice picture too.

My last vacation was a 7 day cruise to alaska :) One of the best experiences of my life, I met a whole bunch of amazing people there, I still keep in touch with some of them, even though I miss meeting them face to face :(
