First of all let you know onething,,I am kind of atheist,,you can find me agnostic or ignostic sometimes,,I am not trying to argue with theists that there is god or not,,, There can be god or there can not be,,.. OR we can not prove the existence or non existence,, But ,I was searching in my mind for answer, that why ,,why did the god create us? (If he did that),What is the sol purpose of our existence ,is that meaningless? or what,, Is that like some religious texts say "We exist to worship god" Do we? I need your thoughts ,,please If you get free time,,try visting my blog " www.allthedarkness.wordpress.com " thanks you

WELL, AFTER GOD HAD CREATED THE WHOLE WORLD WITH BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS AND PLANTS HE LOOKED DOWN TO HIS CREATION & FELT THAT HE NEEDS SOMEONE TO TAKE CARE OF HIS CREATION SO HE CREATED HIS MASTERWORK i.e. MAN SO INORDER TO LOOK AFTER HIS CREATION THE ALMIGHTY CREATED MAN. BT NOW MAN HAS BECOME SO MUCH CRUEL THAT HE HAS STARTED DISTROYING HIS CREATIONS &NOW HE HAS EVEN STARTED SAYING THAT HE HAS CREATED GOD WHICH I CONCIDER A UNIVERSAL LIE . This is not based on logic only a biblical account.

I think that it's not true God created man. It works the other way around. Humans are the ones who created God. We're the ones who made the religions, who made the idea. It's all in our minds. Now that we created him, does that mean he exists or not?

We exist to do whatever we want to. There is no set purpose for humankind. I guess we exists to explore our world and try to explain things, and that's where God came from. God is an explanation for why everything exists.

If not why do we exist, what is the sole reason for that?

god created us to test our faith in remembering him and to check the goodness in the heart of people. to devote himself and serve human nature. on the last day that is the judment day, our results will be out that is in the exam of good and bad, we will pass or fail, we will go the heavens if we pass otherwise will go to hell if failed in the subject of life.

that's non sense why would god create someone just to test they faith wouldn't he know how it would turn out if it's god and the fact you give god a gender you limit it. i could be going through hell without dying alot of people are there re hundreds of religious demoninations why are you so sure yours is the truth? don't get caught in one fram of think expore it all is the only way you will trully find out what is.

God created us to see that Do the people follow him and remember him as his creator. He made this world and we humans to see that how many can walk on the right path and how many on wrong ones. Its like an exam for us where if we pass we will get whatever we want and if we fail,it would be he worst of them all.

Again i find no logic,,no sense why should he create just to for us to follow him,, what is wrong and right if we do not exist i think it is more stable ,the nonexistence of us

Why did God create us??? There is a simple answer that comes in the form of a question. DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN?????? If you have children then you should have the answer to your question.

Darwin is just another creation of god and not GOD. Our creator is the Beginning and he is the End.

Computers will not understand anything about humans until we reveal it... So as, we will not understand our creator until he reveals himself. All we have to do is stop questioning and start believing.

God create us for our for our happiness. God need us for present His love between human and creatures. So, violation of human rights is not acceptable.

Why for our happiness,,if we do not exist there is no need for us to be happy,,this is illogical,, A yawning void,,a nothingness would have been better lol :D

God created people to reproduce. it all started from adam and eve, first man and woman on earth, and elevated to this mess we have today. and it will continue until the world comes to an end.

i think that is nonsense,,an infinite chain of reproduction , fot what why we just exist for the sake of existing and reproduction

I want to start of by saying that I am not religious. I did attend church for several years, because I was sure that I could become faithful. Instead, all I had were questions, and I realized that I was not finding my answers in religion. I have also been told that we exist to worship God, so this is where I am going to start. With this, it has also been told to us that God gave us free will, which includes the will not to serve Him. I often wondered why God would create us for a specific purpose, yet give us the choice not to *want* to follow through with it. If I remember correctly, when Jesus was on the cross, he saw the future of everything, everyone who would ever live, and every choice, good or bad, that they would make. I would assume that this would include whether or not the person chose to worship God? If Jesus knows that someone is never going to worship God in their lifetime, what is the point of giving them life? These thoughts, and similar thoughts, is what leads me to believe that we are here through scientific means- everything forming, earth becoming habitable, and evolution up to the present date. And if, IF, there is a God, or gods, they are not the God or gods described by the Bible, or other religious texts. To answer your question- do we have a reason to exist? There are so many ways to answer this. We are part of a massive food chain. We humans eat just about anything that doesn't poison our system or otherwise cause harm. There are animals that will eat us. When we die, we decompose and benefit the environment. Every life has a purpose to this planet. Beyond the 'Circle of Life'? Keep in mind that we have both the greatest potential to do something really great in the world, and the greatest potential to destroy everything, out of every species. If we do have a purpose, it lies in our potential to cause harm or do good as one species.

This is definitely a difficult one. I don't believe God created us in "his own image." I do believe in some creation factor but I'm not sure what. I do believe we have independent choices and such but that there are good and bad choices. I do believe we have our own scheme in life but not quite sure where mine is just yet.

You're not the only person who had that kind of atheist expression. there's a lot of people who obviously doubts about the Existence of God and the creation of the human race. I never believe that we were born, just to die for nothing. God has a unique purpose in each and every one of us, some they knew it immediately, some took time. we exist to do God's will in our own free way

Can animals understand the creation of man? Can animals understand why we are working? Can animals understand our life pattern? Then, how can human understand or try understand God his creator? God has beautiful plan for all of us in life... Its a mixture of both happiness and trials. All we have to do is to trust in God with all our heart and follow his path to reach salvation (to reach him).

Hi dolmitta, i read through all the comments here, and i got something to comment on this discussion, but i just can't put in it words. Reading your comment, is definitely what i have in my mind. You put it in a simple and and straight to the point, and not like those i read, and i totally lost, have no idea what he is trying to talk about, and i just looking for a 'full stop' so that i can start with a new readable sentence.lol. Human being is just a very small portion in this universe, and they try to explore everything, coming out with their scientific thinking, and reach the level where they become very proud of themselves. it has been proven that science discovery can be wrong for many times. Years and centuries ago, science believe atom is the smallest component can be, they determined there are only 8 planets (they didn't notice Pluto yet), the earth is flat (no one think that earth is round). Are we very smart? when all these have been proven wrong? Long time before the scientific say the earth is round, it has been stated in the bible about the earth (My bible is not in English, I'm not able to explain further about this). What I want to say is, we are just a small tiny creation. We don't know about EVERYTHING. It might be something greater and smarter than us outside there. Since we are 'not really really intelligent' (after have been proven wrong), who are we trying to understand the work and intelligence of god? can we?

lol I think its all a matter of faith... we (humans) have to belive in something to justify our existance.... I think the idea of a commum god was created because if everyone belives in its own god (necessity of something to give them strenght) and in its own toughts only... this world would be the caos I dont in a commum GOD, I believe in my own god..., my spirit and my strenght to do everything Im afraid of... sorry about my english xD

Nice comments but unfurtunatelly they lead us in a big circle back to where we started. The question itself is oxymoronic; how can one ask "Why did God create us?" if she or he doesn't believe in the existence of God? The first question should probably have been "Is there a God?". If the individual believes that there is a God, then a second question could be "Why did God create us?" I cannot prove to you that God exists but no one can prove that He doesn't exist just like science cannot prove their "theories" of evolution, both require faith. Personally I put my faith on the existence of God.

Yes it is a belief that God created us to worship him, and care for the animals and plants he created, but mainly to worship him. The question of why we were created is one that no one can honestly answer enough to prove the existance or non existence of God. It is something we all search for which is one reason why I think we have so many different religions.

first we have to stop trying to express why god created... first off god didn't create us for any of the reason these guys said all comming from a man made book or what they was taught in sunday school. i'ma just spit it out... we are here on this earth for the experience the real us which is our soul has travel this omniverse for millions of years experience different realities we are actually in the body of the source we all are gods the right question is why you decided to embodied this generic form known as human but i'll answer it for you we came on our own free will to experience life in this third dimension from traveling dwon from the 9th which is the nursery of the souls picture the source as a body and all of us as red blood cells, white blood cells, arteries etc. each one just as important as the next carry out a function for god this particular god expression is wave form us that are here wanted to experience life in wave form so we enter this god for that reason i know it sounds crazy but it's the truth it may sound like i'm rambling on i just trying to give you something to spark question that i can answer for you religion is not an experience you need it's each one of our own journey to find out who we really are outside of this generic suit is only when we step in this dimension we don't know our true selves but we knew that before we enter it the fact you asking these kind of questions is proof your true self is ready to awaken.
