Ear Cleaning

I use cotton buds to clean the outer parts of my ears and just the beginning of the interior. Then I use hydrogen peroxide to clean inside, i just take a capful and pour into my ears. It bubbles and feels warm, I leave it in for a few minutes and then tip my head to empty out the ear canal. Works very well for me.

Hi, you are right, cleaning ears with ear buds or any sharp pointed tool is not advisable. I have also seen some people using acids such as hydroflouride to remove dirt from ears but i feel it is too dangerous. what you can do is pour and remove some water after bath into your ears for 10 times a day.

what i do is not good as well as unsafe for the ears but i dont get things perfect for prickling or cleaning the ear. i use match stick which might be dangerous also, but i cannot resist and start cleaning my ear with it. not only this, i do not stop doing so as well i call others saying who want to clean ears , come here and i will clean it for you. all ends up saying i love cleaning ears.

There was a saying "Never put anything in your ear bigger than your elbow!"..Even old timers liked messing with your head back in the day...at the moment,one of my ears need a clean out,and I went to the Doctor,who told me to go get a bottle of ear drops and degunk it some with that..I was hoping to have the job done a bit faster than it's taking,cos this muffled sound on one side is making conversation a pain,and people can come up on my deaf side from behind and startle me! You don't realise how much your spatial awareness depends on good hearing until you've a blocked ear!

I think it will only be advisable if we know how to properly use the item. Cleaning the ears with cotton buds would be the best way. If not, then why invent them right? I bet there is a more proper way to do it not only inserting it way at the back of our ears. Because it will only push the dirt inside. So we need to have this small hook-like thing that could scrape away dirt from our ears.
