Some times i do believe it and some times i dont. It seems in Mayan calender that after 2012 there is no calender.! Then the scientist say that there is a big asteroid which would have a disastrous effect if it hits the earth!!! what to believe and what not!!! If in case that the world is really gonna end in 2012 are you ready to face it??? how would you react to the situation?

No I don't believe it, like previous people have said. I think it's all just hype, something that the media likes to give attention to because it evokes a response. Many people have in the past predicted the end of the world. I simply do not believe that the future can be predicted like this.

No it wont be the end of the world. It will only be the end of the world if you beleave it will be. But there are so many dates that keep popping up now that people say its the end of the world that im getting quite sick of hearing it. But I doubt anything will happen even though I will be pretty scared the night before even if I dont think anything will happen.

i don't think there is an end of world around the corner. 2012 will be just another year. at the most there might be some minor changes which are very insignificant for us. I do not know how far the Mayan calender event is true and will occur. It is indicating to a celestial event which happens at a particular interval. there is nothing to worry about as it will not lead to any human destruction. for that we have lots of time. live happily now.

No way..actually my mom believes all that crazy stuff and one time she got into a discussion with this person who told her that the world doesn't really end, it's more like the people ending. They said it's more like a prediction of the returning of Jesus and that type of stuff. But then again, the predictions of global warming and all that? Who knows...I still doubt it'd ever be that soon.

I don't believe it. These stories have been around for years and they keep popping up becasue the day is getting closer. There is already a movie in the making, multiple shows on tv, news reports...they are using this myth to make money. I don't see it actually happening. And, even if it really does, I would rather not know. There are so many things I want to do with my life and I would only be 25. My niece would only be 4...its just too horrible to think about.
