Why is my cat so crazy?

So, I got a cat and it seems to be really crazy and weird. I've owned lots of cats in my life but, this one is different. She'll start at one end of the house, run and jump on your back. Never seen this happen! She also will run straight for your face, scratch you and run off..is this normal or is she crazy?

cats can seem to be crazy, doing things that don't make sense to us, she may just be overly energetic and can't seem to find a way to burn off the energy any other way - you might try a wand toy and direct her toward that instead of yourself.

i'll have to try that..i've given her balls to play with but they dont interest her

I too have had many cats and they all had very diffrent personalities. A couple were a bit more animated like yours. One we had to get rid of because he would attack my husband every time he would get near me. The other one we kept, and she got better as she got older.

Oh my!!
She is trying to see how far she can go.
You need to role up a newspaper and when she "attacks you", you threaten her with the paper. Just the noise and the holding of the news paper with scare her off.
You don't need to hit her with it. But,she has to know who is boss.
Those nails can be sharp!! Auwh! Good luck.
