Do you remember going to school dances?

Hu Sarah. Yes, I remember going to school dances. One special dance I remember very clearly that I went to was the high school drauation dance. Unforgetable ! Everyone so happy ! A milestone in our lives. I still have a few pictures of the graduation dance ! Do you keep pictures too ?

I went to school dances when I lived in the US when I was in 7th grade. THe gym teacher taught the boys to dance. It was painful. It was the time of Elvis and these boys only learned one single step out of tune. Fortunatly for me, There was a mexican boy that was the son of a first marriage of a mexican lady who had married an american. That boy knew what rhym was!!! He wasn´t particulary handsome or bright but, after the dance, I had a crush for him that lasted over a month. "Our" record was Don´t be cruel. In my country we had friends that belonged to diferent schools and we gathered at houses. Each had to bring something and parents checked on us.

I did go to alot of the dances we had at school....I think every one of them....my senior year I went to three proms! LOL.....my own....my dates.....and his church put one on too....it was fun getting all dressed up! Those were the days!

whenever school dance or school sports was mentioned i would find away of giving excuses so as not to attend but that was during those days now i like music and is tempted to ask you if you guys love the native african music from east africa? if you do i have a collection which i can share with you. cashspiner dot blogspot dot com
