Let's pay everyone the same.

Let's say we have a company with 1 million employees. We pay everyone the same by taking the profit at the end of the year and dividing it up so everyone earns exactly the same amount of money. This would be as close to fair we will ever get. Let's quit cheating the little guy. It's about time someone spoke up about fairness. I look forward to your comments. Please be nice.

I knew you were pulling my chain. In that scenario, there would be a world of 'Even Stevens.' But, if you look around the world, there are many folks who have no chance of getting ahead. But then, they probably don't know the difference.

Hi carson your idea of paying everyone the same is good but its not gonna work and its not fair.If we pay the person with a degree from MIT and the drop out from school the same price its not fair. And there are posts in a company that requires only two to three hours of work while some require 8-10 hours of work daily. If you pay both of them the same way its not fair. And if we suppose if all your employers agrees for a common pay then they will not want a labourers pay but they all want to be paid a managers pay. Then it will be a problem for the management because earlier they would be paying a single person with manager salary and 100 with labourers salary but now as they have agreed to a common pay they would be paying 101 members with manager salaries. That would ruin the company in no time.So thats not gonna work..

hmmm not sure that is truly fair as different jobs require different mount of skills, risk and responsiblity..I think people need incentives to work their way up, yes people doing the same work regardless of gender and age should be paid the same but other things must be taken into account.

And the Oscar goes to Carson for is role as the impostor Democrat. The problem is not everyone does the same job. This actually is very unfair do to it pay certain employees more than they are worth and other less than they are worth. The secretary does an important job but no one hires, let say a marketing firm because of their secretary.

Just would not work since many to only do the bare minimum to get by and still get the same and those who worked really hard and contributed. There would be no incentive to work hard and eventually nothing would get done and there would not pay for anoyone.

What about the stock holders? they invest in the company so that their money can be used to help the company thrive. In return they get a "return" on their investment. Taking the profits and giving it to the employees to split is going to tick off the stock holders. Then they won't invest in the company...which means the company won't have the money it needs to run or turn a profit to split with people.

Yeah... what the position I can get with the least amount of responsibility and the least stressful? I'll take it!
