hlds error on xp 64bit! / myLot

error - hlds crashes when run on XP 64bit

hey guys, im having some problems running hlds on XP 64bit. basically when i run hlds, it shows an error saying system memory less than 15MB. i applied a patch, and hlds worked but then whenever i tried to join some other server it would say invalid CD key. Any suggestions??

Sometimes many games not works with XP 64bit, it can be mismatch on code when running the games. Try to select compatibility, then check list Run this program in compatibility for Windows NT 4.0.

i tried the compatibility changes man, none of them worked. :'( god knows wat the hell is wrong with this damn thing!!
