Salads can be enjoyed as a healthy snack,as a nutritious appetizer or as a delicious, wholesome meal. But it's easy to turn salad into a fat-filled swamp if you add too much dressing.A great way to ensure you don't overdo it with the dressing is to ask for it on the side and pour only a spoonful. Another great option is to ask for reduced-fat varieties. Forgo bacon bits and cheese.

Hi Raju,
Wow what a splendid display of salad. What you wrote about the good or merit of consuming salad can not be denied, I am an avid salad fan. with lots of salad and less of food I can go all the day. Surely while taking salad one needs to be attentive of its demerits as well.

I like the salad at Wendys hehe. But i am making my own salad too. Its a combination of fruit and vegetables. My favorite ingredients are carrots, cucumber and apples. I like it very much.

You are so right about what you say, salads are a great thing to snack on. I usually have one for lunch everyday as my meal, and i love adding a lot of different veggies to it. I have never liked dressings on my salad so i eat them without any. I have never had a problem with my weight so i always add some cheese to it. I also like to top it off with some sunflower seeds, and some broken up walnuts.

Thanks for your tips. they are really helpful. before i know eating salad is not as healthy as people imagine. so i tried not eating them.
however after i read your tips i think i should treat it positively and eat it smartly.
it's shame for me to eat less but still get weight on. I really hate when i'm eating but i do love eating.
i will practice your tips and see if i can enjoy food as well as lose some weight.
