does the person that get the blame depend on a child's age? like if the kid is 3 then it is the parents fault, but if the kid is 13 then it is the kid's fault?

Sometimes parents should be blame about the weight of their children. Throid problem is also need to consider if the child is obese you should consult a doctor if your child gains to much weight that it is not normal for his age. Some children are don't have physical activities and there parents allow them to eat too much junkfoods or sweets.

The real question would be in a situation like this is WHY the child is obese, is it because child is eating too much or is it a hormonal problem that needs to be taken cared of, or does child have an eating disorder?Either way, blaming doesnt really help. Its about trying to solve the problem and help the child in the best way possible.

I think it´s more important to take the child to a doctor that to see who is to blame. There are all sorts of endocrine disorders that can be blamed for that. A doctor will see what´s happening and will guide the parents to help their child. At 13, with new hormone disorders, a checkup is needed. Happy posting!

obessity is no-ones fault. neither the parent's nor the kid's. obesity is a disease. how can it be someones' fault. It can be controled with proper medication. now if the parents are not taking the kid to a doctor then its their fault. By obesity if you mean being fat then there are lot of other things important to do than using that time to get slim.
