How you make the choice ?

Supose you are to organise a "romantic dinner". Does not matter if you are boy or girl, you have to do it. How will you make the choice ? According to what you think is romantic and how you will feel is more appropriate to make your intention be clear ? Or you will try your best guess about how your partner would see it as romantic as possible and to understand and value your efforts ?

Depends on how well you know the person. If it's a new relationship, I might ask. If I knew the person well, I might surprise them based on what I know they like.
