Are you the type of person that must have name brands?? Or could you live without them? Why do you buy name brands? Does it really make you feel better about yourself? I don't wear name brands and I'm trying to understand why some people must have name brand items.

I don't really have to have name brands. Especially since a lot of these designers don't make anything in my size anyway (3x shirt going to 4x). I use to care, but then I started bulking up and growing insanely fast, so it makes no sense to me to spend that kind of money on something that I can only wear for a short amount of time before I tear it off my back. So I stick to basic solid color shirts. I do search particular name for pants because different companies have different ideas on the same size, and there is a particular comfort that I am looking for (baggy because I have big legs). Other than that, I don't need to have someone's name running across my chest like everyone else does. I don't have to worry about it anyway since I am way too big for those clothes anyway. Besides, I like how I look with my muscles bulging through the shirt anyway.

I love name brands but I love quality even more. Name brands are good ways of assessing the worth of an item kind of like a commodity, but other than that, some brands reflect great quality that you don't get with imitation items of those products. If you truly are looking for quality, seek it not the name brand.

not really.I don't mind wearing branded clothes, but i'm not really a sucker for brands.i believe that no matter how expensive your dress is,if it looks sloppy on you it is still fashion overkill.i buy branded items on basic stuff like white shirt, black blouse, and jeans.for trends,i tend to buy the cheap ones.if i see a trend i'd like to wear forever,i'll buy the branded clothes.

Even though I'm not that crazy about brands, I do give preference to branded products. The main reason being they are comfortable & will last longer than others. Its true that your reputation also matter while using branded products.

For the most part, I do not wear name brands items. It doesn't matter too much to me, as long as the clothes fit and look good. The exception to this is SHOES! *blushes* I totally LOVE shoes! However, on my tight budget, I have to do it reasonably, so I will shop at Payless when necessary, but if I can I shop at the Nine West Outlet in my mall. They have great shoes on sale and quality that lasts longer than the Payless ones. Ultimately, one day, when I'm "a rich girl", I would LOVE to have a pair of Christian Lubiton shoes! And yes, it makes me feel luxurious! :)

I definitely don't find wearing a brand name on me NECESSARY, but I sometimes find myself migrating towards certain labels (like Esprit) predominantly because I really like the clothes that they design and release. I'm just as happy buying unbranded goods as branded goods. Also, sometimes I think that something with a brand name (e.g. Levi Jeans) is a guarantee of better quality because they have a reputation to uphold. I mean, sure, you're paying $100 for a pair of Levi's, but they're really good quality and last FOREVER!

I do have certain sites that I love to shop at, and I really love American Apparel (you can't go wrong with basics), but generally I feel that you can buy amazing clothes anywhere if you know what to look for, so I try to bargain shop and ignore brands for the most part!
