last night i saw the news on the television, the common-law wife of Ex-governor Chavit Singson was being battered by him and i saw her face, she was so ugly that time, full of black eyes and all that mess on her face, and note he used a whip to hurt her then slap her so much. the whip he used was the whip he used to his very huge tiger, what does Chavit think to her wife, a tiger?? so rude.. even if he caught her common-law wife with another guy, he has still no right to do that.. she is still human and their are not legally married so why hurt her that way??
can't we stop this problem on our society?? i have heard a lot of violence on other countries, and most of them are only their helper domestic helpers), they have no right to do it.. they need to be punished and let them suffer like hell..!! women are precious, so don't destroy their precious faces..
husband out there, are you doing this to your wife??
what can you say about this problem??
have you experienced this thing??
be open and happy myLotting to all of you.!

hi jane. it does not matter if the couples are married or just living-in together. still a man has no right to hurt the woman. i know and you also know about the law. what i hate about chavit is, he still has guts to face the public and talks about what he did to the woman, "buti nga hindi ko pinatay" which he tries to tell that she should be thankful for what he just did and not kill her.

janebeth this is a very good discussion. I hate seeing women battered. No Ihavent experienced it in my own life as my husband was a very kind loving man. but Ihave seen other women who have been battered.I told them to get to a shelter for battered women,if you havekids take them with you but get out. the life you save maybe you own.

yes hatley you are right there, you are so lucky because you have a very kind husband.. and poor ladies out there because they experienced such a sad way of being love to the person who done it.. yes, better to go with a shelter or go home with your parents, they should stop this now..

Hi janebeth,
First of all why are they allowing this brute to whip a tiger/ that is animal crulty of a worst kind, never mind his partner, she can leave him, this man should be jailed for a very long time, what is wrong with these people? I wish I could get at him, I'll give him the same thing he give his tige and his wife.

quarrel maybe normal between couples, but fight should think over, once you fight you wife ,the relationship must be over.so no matter what happen between couples, sit down calmly and have a chat first.if can't live together anymore, divorce, only remember, don't fight!

i don't have a first-hand experience of domestic violence. there are so many things in the news about this actually, i am sure, but some women are just afraid to come out and do legal actions against their husbands/boyfriends.
i should stand up for my right, if ever that happens to me. God forbid!
