Energy saving trend, would you follow the main stream?

I guess we all learn our lessons on saving energy means saving your wallet. Learning to save and use green energy is our future goal. Would you follow the main stream, and switch over to energy saving trend? For instance, car needs to use hybrid, or gasoline saving engines. Home appliances should be switch over to less electricity consuming products. For house lighting, LED will be the future of everything.
Would you switch it over to energy saving products, and save your big bucks?

yeah, we must save energy for the future world. I use energy saving lamp to my house. For outside lamp I use thermocouple lamp, that is automatic switch on if dark and automatic off in the morning. I use timer for my air conditioner

We sure need to save money from all those expenses from utility bills. We never develop this concept before, and now we just start to learn from our past mistakes. We should learn to save money from each every way we can.
