# of rows in Excel WorkSheet (Just want to know)

Hi, Hope you are doing well.I've a question regarding the excel sheet. Can anyone tell that how to insert more than 65536 rows in an excel sheet? I know the limitation for # of rows in excel sheet is 65536 but except 2007 version.

Are want to create database with that much rows, Do not say that you are always dealing with database file with a number of line very much. if want to create a database, use MS Access that provides multiple lines, rather than MS Excel.

You are certainly right about the number of rows, which is calculated as 2 to the power of 16. As for inserting further rows, this is not possible. A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet is a finite size and you could not have a row numbered 65537.

If you are not running Office 2007 you are out of luck. You can download the trial from their website. What do you need all of those rows for? You must be doing a lot of work like a research study or something. What is it on? Can you share it with us or is it private. I look forward to your response.
