is 2012 the end of days?

hi friends....recently, i saw a documentary movie that i borrowed from someone, it told about Nostradamus and the prophecy, actually the movie made me confused. the movie is about the year of 2012 as the dooms day. do you believe that 2012 is the end of days? your reasons please...

When I was only a kid in primary schoold, I was once told the earth is doomed to end in the year 1997. I was frightened by the prophecy and even can not sleep well. LOL.
We now lives very well, and 1997 is a bump year for me.
I don't believe those so-called prophecies. I ignore them.
