I'm a certified horror freak. I don't know how it all started though. The only thing I know is that you could always get me to watch a movie if it's a horror film. Sometimes even to a point where I don't care if it's a low budgeted one or doesn't have a good story. hehe But after watching it, I'll get pissed if I see a lot of flaws on it or if it didn't scare me out. A really really scary film could make my day. It was such a blessing for me that japanese horror films have been commercialized and even movies from countries near it. For it did fill up my appetite for horror films. They just have a different attack that would definitely not let you sleep at night. Some of my favorite asian horrors are, "The Eye", "Shutter" (I wasn't able to sleep peacefully for a few nights because of this one hehe), and lots more. And I also like watching zombie films like "Resident Evil" (best zombie sequel I've seen so far) and "The Night of the Living Dead" (a certified classic). So what's the best horror film have you seen so far?

Hi! certified horror freak? Me too :) This will sound very "old school" but my favourite movie is still "the exorcist". One thing that helps this movie being my favourite it´s the age I was when I saw it...I was around 13,14... And not to later I saw somthing in real life just like the movie...I think I got a little traumatized then. As you may agree with me, nowadays it´s harder and harder to find a good horror movie. Even so we do find them. One movie that I saw and i really loved it was "The Exorcism of Emily Rose". Oh my god, that is based in a true story..at leat they say...If that´s true, wow!!! I don´t know if there is any rule here forbiden links...I hope not! Check the suposed real tape from the recordings of the real emily rose: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpfTPoLOIaI OH MY GOD!!! Definitely, My favourite horror movies are those about spirits, possessions, ghosts...

Hi angryeve! Thanks but don´t worry, you don´t have to be scared because my ghost only atacks bad people :P It´s a giff image,it was supposed to move... Emily Rose coul be prettier, but only before the devil was in her...lol We will never know if that was a possession or not...You know, human brain has lot of strange things and nowadays lots of strange things has already explanation. Nevertheless, many people prefer to think there is no cientific explanation. i prefer to be prepared to listen from both sides: supernatural and cientific. About my real life explanation, well...Please, please don´t get me wrong, but I prefer not to talk about it...It was with my mother and my sister...

Hehe don't worry I saw your avatar moving when I visited your page.lol And I guess you're right, we can't really tell if it was true by the video alone since we only see collection photos there. And I totally agree with you regarding the supernatural and scientific issue. People sometimes see what they want to believe in rather than the truth. To the point of exaggerating everything. Although I still think that the story about Emily Rose was real. But not all claims of exorcisms are. By the way, I understand if you don't want to tell your story since it seem so personal. But just in case you changed your mind and decided to share, I would really love to hear that.. =)

Hi calliban, love your avatar, its scaring me already.lol And I love the exorcist too. I mean any horror freaks would certainly not miss this one with Linda Blaire. And the Emily rose one, was really scary cause it really is a true story. Just imagine the horror of it in real life. By the way posting links are not a violation as long as it's not a referral kind of link. I checked it out and I just learned that the real Emily Rose was prettier.hehe But that was scary, though I didn't got scared on the background sounds, the photos was the thing that got me chilling. I felt bad for her, really. And it must have been worst for her family who actually experienced that nightmare with her. By the way, you were saying about something that you actually had an experience on seeing someone on that situation! What was it like? My God I do love horror stuff but would never wish to experience any of that in real life. Please tell me about it!!! =)

I am not a nut for horror but when i do see a horror movie . I prefer the older ones. Don't get me wrong the new versions by the likes of Rob Zombie are cool, but, you can't beat the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre , Halloween the best theme music ever!!!, Friday The 13th, etc. As far as those asian horror movies, those are just plain sick!!!! I like more suspenseful horror than just blood and guts!!!

Hi rwills828, yah I love chainsaw massacre, by the way, there's this thing about that movie that has kept me wondering. Is it really based from a true story? Anyway, I'm not a fan of Rob Zombie but I often end up watching his film.. haha I guess they're just too good to pass up. The last I've seen from him was like years ago, I can't remember the title, but it was about a family of like vampires and as usual there's their victim all tied up.. Anyway, it was so long ago, I'm really having a hard time remembering. Bottom line is he really has a talent making thrilling movies. Although sometimes its a bit redundant already. And I also like old school movies. There's just something about old movies that makes you wanna watch it no matter how many new scary movies comes out. As for asian films, hehe I still love them but not all. There are some which you would feel just wasted your time. =(

I don't think this discussion is in the right place... As for horror films I enjoy the classics - such as the Friday the 13th movies. They're cheesy, but old school, so I enjoy them. It's hard to find horror movies these days that scare ya.

Hi, well yah I was surprised myself that I mistakenly put this under make money category. I was supposed to write something under that category too though. But before I even started, I suddenly changed me mind and wrote about horror movies, forgetting to set it to its appropriate category. huhu Is there any way I could change it? I would really appreciate any help.

Hi, sorry I was caught up a bit with mistakenly posting this one on the wrong category, that I totally forgot to give you a reply on movies. haha Anyway, we do share the same interest on old school. Actually I tend to love anything that is old school like music or other things. There's just something about it that you can't afford to pass out. Well, if you're having a hard time looking for a movie that will give surely give you the chills. I highly recommend you to see some asian films, that is if you're up to with subtitles. "The eye" has a hollywood version already, staring Jessica Alba, one of my favorite stars by the way. But I still prefer the original one.

Hi anurah, yah the grudge too is really scary, I just really hate the ending though. It's like there's no happy ending.hehe And all of us get scared after watching a really really good horror movie, but usually that's the whole point of watching it, to get scared and scream. It's kinda weird though how normal it is for people doing things to just scare themselves, it's really just addicting, you'll always be wanting for more and more. Keep mylotting! =)
