Why can't we delete our own posts here?

September 4, 2009 12:41pm CST
I started a few topics and sadly I didn't get a lot of responses so I kind of feel down at the minute and seeing these low response to my topics is depressing me... So I just wondered why we are not allowed to delete our own posts? I mean wouldn't it be easier for us to do so and not let our earnings get affected? besides we get to help the admin with the work load that they already have.

Maybe it's because you would affect other people's earnings if they had responded? I could see allowing you to do it for zero response discussions, though. But hey, if you have any, go ahead and PM me the link and I'll get them a response!

Hey, A lot of my good and logical discussions have '0' responses and I get a lot of responses to my dumb and nonsense discussions . So dont get upset if you dont get many responses. It means u have started a very logical and interesting topic and mylotters like me and others werent smart enough to understand it So be happy and have fun! Cheers, Tutul

I know how you feel. When I first started I posted a few discussions that didn't get a single response. Now I really wish that I could delete them, but unfortunately myLot gives us little choice about deleting or editing our own posts. Just try not to look at them if they get you down!

We can't delete our own posts and discussions. I actually think it's kind of better if we don't. It will then affect our whole earning system on mylot, just like the lamb lies down said, and it will be too much of a hassle for it to always be updated daily going up and down. Staff will only get rid of posts that are against the guidelines, as all of us already know.
