My son who is 6 yrs old now is very much happy to sleep with my parents. Its because of the leniency my parents give him even if he does something wrong.SO he prefers to be with them always. Its like this since when he was 2 yrs old. What about your children? Do they prefer sleeping with you or with your parents?

my two kids are sleeping with me in my room, they are 5 and the other one is 3, for me they're still too young to have a separate room. since my husband is not around, so i just make sure that we spend more time together with my kids even in sleeping because that it the only time that we talk seriously without any toys and the light are being turned off already so we have fun talking with each other until they get to sleep.

we live separate with my parents so i dont have this kind of thing. and also i have a different way of bringing them up, i want them to become independent as early as possible. when my kids turned three i had them slept in their own room, but they can from time to time sleep with me if they like.

When my daughter was growing up, she always slept in her own bedroom in her own bed. The only time she would get to sleep with me is when she was sick. Then she needed special mommy bed time to help her to feel better. It didn't work of course since when you're sick, you are sick and just feel bad, but she liked it. Now that my daughter is a mother, she does have her youngest boy sleeping with her. He is 4 years old. I live with them but I do not have any of the kids sleep with me. The dog sleeps in my bed, that is all.
