Hey, It wouldn't really affect me, I would just ride a bicycle everywhere I go, or I would get my hands on an electric car. But I don't really go around many places anyway, so it wouldn't affect me that much. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I think it would be catastrophic if it happened today. Because the level of dependence on oil is very high, both for energy and another needs. Although it's been started to emerge of alternative energy, still rarely are intersted in there.

Of course i can live without petrol, not sure about others. Btw, there are plenty of petrol around for at least another hundred year, it is not going to exhaust, the big oil is smart enough to search for reserve around the world with the amount of revenue they are making every year, but they probably want to control the flow of it to get the maximum market price from buyers. lol!!!

That is not much of a problem. The bigger problem is the effects of its use by people. Back to the topic, There are many way we could harness energy. I heard of a geothermal plant which instead uses water of different temperature to create a flow that will turn the turbine like a hydro-electric one. It is like a hybrid, right? By this alone, I am hopeful that we can have sources to things like that. Our creativity will help us survive when things is not on our side.

I don't drive anyway, and already live where there's no public transportation available. I have a group of friends who have basically trained themselves to survive in a world where motor vehicles no longer function in a whole "Mad Max" scenario... so I think I'd survive just fine.
