Right position for sleep is sleep on our back and spread out.It is better to not use any pillow behind our head.Pillow hinder our breathing and take our neck out of alignment.

Yes sreej! Sometimes the height of the pillow gives us pain when we wake up. I often experience that getting neck pains especially at the nape. I've also tried sleeping really flat on my back without the pillow and it does feel relaxing on my back, but the problem is, it seems I can't breathe properly without a pillow to lay my head on. I feel I need to put some height on my head when I'm lying down. It feels comfortable at first but after sometime I would wake because of neck pains.

I wish I knew the answer to this myself. I sleep on either side, with a body pillow for support. Because I'm overweight sleeping on my stomach is very uncomfortable and sleeping on my pain I can't seem to fall asleep. I lay there awake staring at the ceiling. I sometimes get leg cramps in my right calf from having my feet under the covers, aside from that I don't get pains from sleeping even if I don't sleep well. Tossing and turning in a restless sleep will cause morning back pains. I know someone who can only sleep sitting up in a reclining chair due to breathing problems. From reading this it seems a lot more common.

Hi there! Hmm.. Frankly, I don't know what is the best position to sleep comfortably. I guess it would just depend on how well we sleep to say that we have slept comfortably. I would like to know to what position is comfortable sleeping cause I usually wake up with back and neck pains and it's irritating in the mornings when waking up. It feels I am still tired because of those body aches. But I find it that I usually sleep on my right side. With my hands tucked under my cheeks or with a pillow to hug while sleeping. Ciao!
