Every now and again I make mixed CDs for my friends, purely for educational purposes .... I'm working on one now that's a bit of a hodge podge of 70's and 80's glam-rock, post punk....well, anywhere he's what I have so far: Joy Division - She's Lost Control Velvet Underground - What Goes On The Smiths - Jack the Ripper Lou Reed - Sweet Jane The Church - Under the Milky Way Bowie - Drive in Saturday Echo and the Bunnymen .... can't decide between Pictures on my Wall or The Killing Moon a Cure song as yet to be determined....kind of narrowed it down to Burn, Charlotte Sometimes, or Last Dance Queen - Killer Queen I'm looking for around 8 or 9 more to fill up the CD....Anyone have any ideas?

The Stranglers song Strange Little Girl, Marianne Faithfull songs, and Wild One and of course some Marc Bolan...Cosmic Dancer is his most famous. Maybe throw in some songs from the movie Velvet Goldmine as well.

Hmm...I like Bowie a lot, but I think I like his later songs more. I'm not familiar with glam-rock. Do you like freestyle? A little known performer called Sunni had one cd and she had a nice sound and a sweet voice. Also Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. Perhaps look on youtube if you haven't heard of them. I've not heard of any of the bands you listed other than Bowie. ^_^ I'm going to go check them out myself. Good luck with your cd. Try searching sites like youtube for new to you bands?
