Well I've opened this discussion to let everyone know that mine and my fiance's wedding day is fast approaching. I wanted to know if any of you from the lot, have any advice for us, or anything you want to say? I guess let me list things that I'd want to be nosey about! lol!
Any fears ya'll had? (so I know mine aren't stupid)
Any funny moments at ya'lls wedding? (so I know the inevitable won't be as bad!)
Are the last few days gonna fly by? (We figure, and have been told it will)
Any funny things you intentionally did at your own wedding? (to ease the tension... for ya'll?)
In any case... Please feel free to give me any advice, suggestions or what have you about what we are to suspect.
For those who haven't been reading mine (and my fiance's) discussions relating to our wedding... It will be western themed! We are having at the most 60 guests, and... something I don't think I've really made clear in any discussions, My dad's side will be there, and my grandmother (my mama's mama) doesn't really like my dad...
SOOO... Anybody had to invite arch rivals (not to you as bride and groom but to other friends or family members) only because they are close to you?
SOOO... How did that turn out?
Does anyone watch Dog the bounty hunter? I don't usually but his little girl's getting married!

This is a great discussion, and I remember when you wrote this it was almost our wedding day,and I remember you were trying to get some advice when it came to our special day,and I know we were not as nervous as we thought we would be,and I know that the last few days went by fast, and I do not think that anything funny happened at the wedding other then when Baby Bethany cried,I know you said that made you smile, and it seemed like everyone got along other than the sides were segregated and no one from one side really talked to the other side especially between your moms side and your dads side,I am glad the wedding went good, and it was the happiest day of my life, and I am so happy to have you as my wife for the rest of my life,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I know that our special day was just that, special. It was a wonderful day, and though our families were segregated and though no one seemed to dance, I had a great time, and was really glad that the wedding went that well. I know since our wedding wasn't tradition like others it went better then it may have if we had gone the more expensive route with more stuff and possibly more activities on the day of the wedding / getting prepared for the wedding. I think we slept very well the night of the wedding after all the things we had to do in preparation for our guests. I am so glad we got silverware and dishes, and the salt and pepper shakers are very cute as well. I'm excited to use them in our home when we get one. A dollar closer to payout on mylot is a dollar more in savings. Now if I can only get this job sitting with granny or if not with granny then somewhere else! lol!

Another thing that we could do is take the laptop to see if it would work over at granny's, and if it would we could mylot at times like when there is nothing else to do. I think it would do a great deal with helping us to make more money. I love you honey.

Yeah our wedding was not traditional so it would have probably been worse if we had gone the more expensive route, yeah I agree I think we slept really well the night before the wedding, yeah it was really great that we got dishes, silverware and the salt and pepper shakers, and it will be really awesome to use them in our new home one day when we have it ,and yeah a dollar closer is a dollar closer, and I hope you do get the job sitting with Granny because that would be awesome, and I could hangout with you on my days off without anyone saying anything,I love you with all my heart and soul, have a great day, good luck with all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting Baby.

First of all, Congratulations Cowgirl. I wish you and your future husband the best. May you have many years of happiness and prosperity.
Advice? Well, just remember its still a journey from here. You are both going to be building each other and you'll have to come together mentally, emotionally and physically for this. There will also be points of discord but both of you have to rise to that challenge and all others. You'll disagree on things but you can both come together and reach a fair decision regarding the subject. Never lose your fondness and closeness for another, time and life will get in the way. Find the time for each other (and this could be old hobbies, new hobbies or just common activities) and don't drift apart.
Anyways, once again, here's to you and yours.
I've prepared something below for the discussion.

Congrats and I hope everything goes well! I had a very small wedding......with like six guests because it was freezing rain the day of my wedding.....so I don't have alot to say...just pass on something my dad told all of us when we got married.....never go to bed angry at each other.....and like the cute little saying out there that is so popular right now......always kiss each other goodnight!

Wow, only six guests? My lip twitches when people stare at me, lol, not so bad anymore I don't think... but we're going to just count for 60 people coming, some may not, but we rounded the number up! I've heard both of those sayings, but I think the former more then the latter! I appreciate the response and advice!

I hope your big day comes for you soon! Don't give up on finding that special someone (I sound like the eHarmony commercial, lol). As for mylotters, only one, but he doesn't mylot anymore + we know him in person! lol! Sorry!
The cake will be pound cake though! Vanilla icing! Horseshoe shaped!
