Writing skills

I know there is a lot of people out there like to write. But in which type of field most of us prefer to?
As for myself, writing an open discussion is more or less interested me. Anyway, any out of this world stuff will also do.
It is not easy to write a very attractive story, but if you can be creative enough, you will drive a follower to your story!
That's why, I will like to see someone here have a thoughts or opinion regarding this.

I may not be much of a writer but I love writing. I have been writing my mind in AC, my blog, my website and other forums. I love writing free prose and poetry and haikus. I have published my book of poem recently. This was great fun.
What about you?

Hi there Storm Riders!
I love writing and aside from discussions and responses like what we write here in Mylot, I also write lots of poems and creative non-fiction. Short stories which mostly involved extreme emotions such as grief and hatred.

i have read on an italian newspaper something said by an american writer, michael connelly. "In a novel - he said - it's very important to focus on the main character. the theme and the action come after". i believe in his words and i also agree with you when you talk about being creative. it is very important to be creative, but you also have to be realistic if you want other people to believe. you.
