When I was in junior high school, some girl in my dorm sometimes sneaked out at night to skate, which was not allowed.I never did that.I remember I went to skate with them on some weekends, but I didnt learn it.Maybe I was afraid of falling down and getting injured.I havent learnt how to skate so far.Yet I really want to learn.Skating is very cool for me.So I decide to find someone reliable to teach me.What about you? Can you skate?Or Are you good at it?If not,do you ever think of learning it?Happy mylotting!

I can roller skate but I can't ice skate.I learned when I was a kid. Back then I wasn't afraid to fall, you are going to fall,it is a fact of skating. The thing to do is just let yourself fall, don't tense up and you will be fine. The way I learned was to laced up the skates and move your feet in a V motion on the sidewalk. After awhile you will be able to skate. To stop, you move your body to one side kick your front leg a little.at least this is what I remember. The key is togo in Knowing youare going to fal sometimes . Good luck.

Yes, I can skate. Not professionally, mind. But my school was only 5 minutes away from an ice rink, so our sports teacher replaced the gym with the ice hall quite regularly in winter. We always had great fun! I learned skating when I was tiny. There was a lake not far from our house and back then it was solidly frozen, so all the kids in the neighbourhood went there with their parents on weekends. It's a shame you can't do that anymore nowadays.

Ice Skate! Yes when I was young I grew up in Michigan near a lake that froze over in the winter. I was lucky my neighbors older brother took the time to teach us to ice skate when we were 4 years old! At 5 years old we played Hockey, I played hockey for 12 years on some very good teams! This experience taught me many things and helped me in my future life! tdemex

Yes, I can ice skate - in fact, figure skate. I roller skated for fun as a kid, but I took up figure skating as an adult and I absolutely love it! I learned how to jump (up to doubles), spin, and lots of other things. I took group lessons, then had my own private coach - I even competed and performed! Ok, the Olympics would never be in my sight, but certainly I had my place in the adult world (I went to the Adult Nationals!). Hope you love it and get addicted like I did . . . stick with it and you may get skate beyond your wildest dreams like I did!!!
