I have now tried 3 muffins recipes and all 3 haven't been that good, the muffins just taste like normal buns and look like them too. I'm looking for my muffins to look something like the ones you buy in the shops. So can you please share with me your best muffin recipes. Many thanks Anne18

No help here - my favorite muffin recipe is Jiffy Mix, love the blueberry, dump the box in a bowl and I think milk and egg, mix, pour in muffin tin and bake... Last 15 or more years I've become the boringest and laziest cook in the world :(

The pumpkin muffins are really good. They are moist too. I am sure if you like pumpkin at all you will love them. I like that Jiffy stuff too. Blueberry is my favorite one. Funny because I really do not like blueberries. The blueberry in those it not real blueberry though, so I guess that it why I like them.

Here is my favorite. My kids favorite too. They are also very easy. Pumpkin Muffins Ingredients * 1 cup pumpkin (canned "or" fresh) * 2 eggs, slightly beaten * 1/2 cup water * 1/2 cup melted shortening * 1 3/4 cups flour * 1/4 teaspoon salt * 1 1/2 cups sugar * 1 teaspoon baking soda * 1/4 teaspoon baking powder * 1 teaspoon cinnamon * 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg * 1/2 teaspoon ginger * 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves Directions 1. Blend pumpkin, eggs, water, and shortening in large bowl. 2. Sift together remaining ingredients and add to pumpkin mixture. 3. Fill greased muffin tins about 3/4 full. 4. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes or until set when touched.

Have you made them this pumpkin season? I'm still having problems, they just turn out like oversize buns I think I'm thinking of american muffins but can't seem to find a recipe for those

I love best the blueberry-banana muffins. You can find the recipe in any site. Just check in any search engine, including mylot search engine. That one works with yahoo and you can also check what other myloters can tell you.
