Do you use the Lost and Found?

A couple weeks ago, my husband and I attended a convention for our home business. Being in Florida, during hurricane season, it rains sometimes. Well, one of the days we were there, while we were in one of the classes, you could just hear the rain pouring down outside. We had been walking from our hotel to the convention center, so we knew we'd get drenched or have to take a cab. Fortunately, being Florida, by the time our session was over, the rain had stopped. So the next day, my husband is watching the weather and it's saying rain for later in the day. He asks if he should take the umbrella, and since I really don't feel like it's going to rain on us, I tell him he can if he wants to but I'm not carrying it, he has to keep track of it. So, he's carrying around this umbrella all day, and at one point he leaves it at his seat. Well, I get up to go look at something, not realizing I had to watch the umbrella because I already told him it was his responsibility. Needless to say, the umbrella was lost from that point. Well, I figure someone will find it and turn it into the lost and found. Although there was not even a hint of rain when we were leaving, we checked the lost and found for the umbrella. There were a lot of little ones, but ours was HUGE and not in the lost and found. We checked back the next day (the last day of the convention) a couple times and also before we left for the day. It was never turned in. Now, I'm pretty sure I spotted our umbrella at one point, but since I didn't know what it looked like - it's always in my husbands truck and we've never used it - I didn't know if that was ours or not. I'm almost positive these two women found it, realized it was a good one and kept it. Now, would you have turned it in to the lost and found or would you have kept it - be honest here because I know there are both kinds out there and I'm not judging you. I just hope that the people who did keep it needed it to stay dry, because thankfully we didn't!
