Do you like to take photos when travelling?

I really get annoyed when asked to take photos all the time.I think the purpose of travelling is to relax yourself and enjoy the scenery.But a friend of mine kept asking to take photos for her as she thinks taking photos is the most important thing when we travel.I just dont agree with her.Its not bad to take a few photos for us to recall the trip later,but focusing on taking photos only distracts us from enjoying what we see with our own eyes.And there's no point showing off your photos.Do you like to take photos when traveling?

I do travel and I like taking pictures of the scenery a lot, but not of myself. and when i do, well i carry a camera stand so i won't annoy someone to take picture of me. anyway, most of the times that i travel is with someone or friends who like to take picture of me and that's where i got annoyed. I only like to take pictures along with beautiful scenery but not everywhere.^^;

Oh yes, we always take cameras when we travel. I take mine, my daughter takes hers, my parents take theirs (when they don't forget it!). I love to take pictures of our travels. I think its fun to go through the pictures later to remember what a great time we had when we were on a trip. Of course if we didnt have fun, then I would just leave the camera in my purse and not take any but generally, we do manage to have some fun.

I love taking photos when traveling. Just so you can remember all the stuff you did. And I also have myspace and facebook and when we travel I can post it on those sites and show off what I've been up to with my friends. I love showing off my pictures and also because I am keeping a scrap book as well, and I'm trying to fill it with photos. I normally just take pictures of the scenery and stuff mostly and hardly take pictures of myself.

I do like to take photos when traveling. I think it is important because it will remind you of the joy you had during that trip and the beautiful place you have seen. It is good to enjoy traveling while taking pictures at the same time. Well, i guess it only shows that we have different tastes in life. I may like this and you may not. I respect your decision and opinion anyways.

I am not always take photos when travelling, most of time i dont take camera while travelling, the important thing is you enjoyed with the landscope, you are happy with your friends, that's ok, that's enough. sometimes, if this is the final time with your friend or sweet heart, you should make photos for memory. some person make photos for showing off, i hate this thing When audients see outside large activities I hating anyone make photos, especially photoflash lamps

Yes I love to take pictures when we go and travel. The reason for this is because I want my son to have a memory of the places I have brought him. It is not really time consuming if you just make a few photos every now and then. If you enjoy taking pictures you will find a way to get even just a few when you are travelling without compromising your agenda for the day and having fun.

I love to take pictures provided I have a cam or my mobile. Usually I wont have a cam & my mobile won't have enough battery charge so many attimes I won't be able to take pics, so I prefer to store everything in my memory Happy Lotting

I always try to take loads of photos while I am travelling as it is a great reminder of these places that you may never get to visit again. I travelled around the world in the late 90's and still love to get out my album and look through all my pictures of that trip every now and then. My kids like to look at them too! There must be a balance though too as you can miss out on the full experience of the place you are visiting if you are always looking through a lens! I used to feel this way when I had a video camera, I was always filming something and missed out on viewing it with my own eyes!

I know what you are saying with the fireworks, I have done this myself in the past, missed the experience and then found out that fireworks do not transfer well from video camera to TV...LOL

I think photos are the best way to preserve memories. What traveler would not want to remember a wonderful vacation? Looking back at photos you've taken lets you go back at least one more time to a happy experience.

i'm not very keen on taking photos when travelling, but for memory, i'll still take some. i think if you really get annoyed for your friend, next travelling you can don't go with her, because happiness the most important thing, right?

Yes, I do. The camera is always with me, when I travel. I mostly like to take landscape picture and close-up pictures . I take picture of myself too, but I prefer to photograph something else than me- like sightseeings or nature.

I think we can take pictures of ourselves anywhere,even at our own homes,so I take mostly landscape pictures.

Photos to me are very important, to transmit to our future generations our way of life, what we looked like, etc . when i travel, i take a lot of pictures, and it doesn't keep me from enjoying every bit of scenery with my eyes, while im there. i think pictures are part of our memory..what will happen the day we lose our memory...maybe pictures will help us remember a bit?

I take a lot of photos, but I do think it's unnecessary to include the people taking the trip in EVERY photo. It's not like you're meeting a celebrity or something like that. I do take a lot of scenery, close ups, life, action shots of things. I figure if I took the pics, then... that's proof enough that I was there.

Yes, I do. The reason why I take my camera when is to take photos of any scenery that i may be able to capture in the place where I travel. I do take some few pictures of my companions because, anyway, my camera has a huge memory to store and I can eliminate the pictures with people later when I download them into my PC.

Travelling all over the world is one of my dreams.Each time I travelled with my friends or relatives,I'll take a digit camera along with.The camera can record everything around,scenery,friends,even your voice .when I feel it's appropriate here,then I press the button.When the travel is over,we can keep the photos or videos.It's not to flaunt,just share your joy with your close friends or relatives,I think that's also what you want.When we grow old,we can still memorize the old days of our lives through the photos or videos,in some word,it's a kind of spiritual treasure,isn't it?
