Human said that, "dog is the man's best friend". But how about from the side of the dog, do you think they treat also us as their bestfriend?

Well, I think the title given to the dog ("mans best friend") is referring to the way that they treat us, not just how we treat them. Dogs are GREAT animals, and whoever came up with "man's best friend" saw that in them. I think the line impacted how we treat dogs, it wasn't created because of how we treated them.

Just a local dog from Philippines called "askal".I got his name from a movie, a meek dog abandoned and found by street children and helped them a lot.How about yours?

i believe that dogs do the same as what we have done to them.. they are very intelligent to know about the personality of the person around them. so if you treat them very nice, they will also treat you very nice always.. i have a lot of dogs on our house, and they are very sweet and kind..

I think so, dogs treat man as their best friend as well. Though they may have other dogs as their common friends but the man or their master they always see and been together with where they could feel love and care, for sure to them man is also their best friend.

The best way I can explain it is one of our dogs, a rescue puppy, loves my husband more than anything! I think she thinks of my husband and I as "her people"! It is like we are her "charges", and she studies us, trying her best to understand what we are saying, and doing whatever she can to please us. This, I think, is why we think of her as our best friend.

Absolutely! A dog doesn't hold a grudge, always is excited to see you, and loves you unconditionally. Now that's a best friend!
