credit card, a good way for you to use and convenience if you have the discipline and is able to clear all the payments all the time. Chalking up credit card bills is no joke, as it can get into really high interest rates and end up you pay more than what you use. As for me, the highest credit that I have was about 11K, and since I seldom drag my payment, so far I am happy to have one. Using the credit card for payment, let me have a chance to collect points, which will come useful when I have stuff that I wanted and can be redeemed by the points instead of buying it with cold hard cash. The highest loan or withdrawal I had with credit card was about 3k, when a friend in need, and I just helping out.

hi jaiho.. thanks for starting such an interesting discussion, and I am being denote with the best response!! and yes, if we are able to be discipline on the credit cards, it's a very useful item to be in our wallet.. and at the very least, with cards, we do not need to carry so much cash, and risk ourselves being robbed or snatched.

Hello bonita mia....I've been longing to have one(credit card) for some emergency purposes but what I am afraid for is, when I would have already I might be tempted of using it without thinking the consequences. And the problem would start during paying period....how to manage and to budget the remaining cash remaining from your credit card payments...would that be a big problem? Well maybe I could only have lots of money and has a good growing investments that would be alright..but since it remains to be only a wish, I think I might just forget Credit Cards I would just maybe take Cash Card...(is there any?) he he he he nice topic...thanks a lot..cheers!

Hello martin, I knew what you were thinking amigo.Yah,sometimes credit cards could be tempting.Since u can have the thing u want in just one slide of that credit card. And then, when payment comes...ouch...here's the problem. But credit card could be very useful too in case of emergencies. I am also still thinking of getting any.Lot of my friends were offering and convincing me to have one...but,still i don't have the reason to have it.I better prefer to have a debit card to avoid unnecessary payments hehehe(sigurista or kuripot?) lolzzz Thanks again for your responce amigo and have a good day always

Hi Jaiho, I am the only one who owns different credit cards but never use the same (I used it once when I verify my papal). You may wonder then why I am owning these cards. Actually my hubby has different cards and most of the banks are providing another card for their spouse. So I own these cards as a gift. I don’t have the habit of shopping separately whenever I go; I go with my hubby so even if we need a credit card then also I don’t want to use mine.

Hello friend, Good thinking my friend, yah, save some money when we want to buy something and not to depend on credit card. I am also seeing that side,if i don't have the money, then, that's it,why go for some credit and ended up paying and in trouble. But credit cards were useful in cases of emergency, like hospital bills. Thanks for your responce dear

credit cards can really be dangerous if you really don't know how to manage your finances. you can be drowned to credits and if you have maxed them out, you'll really find some difficulty in paying them. however, it's a good idea to have one because as you said, you can use it for emergencies but will always lead you to bad credits.hahhaa

Hi there Jaiho2009, credit cards, have their own plus points and minus points. CC's can be used in an emergency, like in hospitals or if you want to travel in air, or if you want to stay in some good hotels. The minus point is the unnecessary expenditure, that we tend to make, if there is a sale, we buy things, which are not needed, and because of the CC's confidence, we tend to make expensive purchases. The biggest credit card loans I have made was, when I purchased some expensive jewelley and clothes for my daughters wedding. I must have spent nearly Rs.3,00,000 (rougly about $6,000)on a single day.
