My mother was talking about someone and how she hated her so much, I just can't stop my mom from talking, But I know that the woman that she's mad at was a very nice person, but my mom had misunderstood the situation, I kept explaining it to my mom. but her mind was closed because she's angry, and then all of a sudden the woman that we were talkin about was behind her, we didn't noticed her first because there was a vehicle behind my mother. I'm 100% sure that she heard everything my mom said. And then I whispered to my mom that the woman was at her back. My mom was a bit embarassed but she just looked at her and left. I was like....uhmmm, I'm sorry about that. but my mom just walk so fast. and left me explaining everything... Nice one mom!. Have you ever been in an awkward situation? how did you handle it?

If the woman heard all your mother's words, she must hear also your defense devoted to her. I don't think that she had a reason to get angry with you. You just said to her that your mother is nice, but there's a misundestanding, and she would change her mind once everything is clarified.

hello ivy,I get what you mean. I would just smile to the lady and leave with Mom. Mom may be wrong but I'll be going home with Mom,not that lady.I'll do exactly what you did.

Oh Gosh that must have been horrible! I really don't know how I would handle that situation. I mean if it's my mother's fault, I don't think I should embarrass myself and apologize for something she did. I'd try give a "sorry" smile, and then leave. Mum is then going to be have to taught a big lesson!

I know, I never want to be in that kind situation ever again. I'll probably stay away from my mom when she's angry. (just kidding)

I try to avoid on that, but, if i dont, i give some explanation on that. The awkward situation depends on our point of view, and each person has his points of views.
