The computer. The source of the internet. The source of chatting with people from all over the globe. When we first had our unlimited cable connection, that is when it started. I always feel like I have to be on it. It is hard for me to stop using the internet. It's bad enough I have the net on my cell phone. lol So tell me your tale. How did you become an addict?

Hey, I first became an Internet Addict when we got upgraded from dial-up to Cable. And that is when I started to go on the Internet every single day of my life. I now am totally addicted to the Internet, I don't miss a day from the Internet. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I spend a lot of time on the internet. However I cannot say I am addicted to it. You might wonder, how can I say that, I spend a lot of time on the internet and say I am not addicted to it? I realised that I was not addicted to the internet when I was on a trip. Even when on a vacation to visit my relatives, I did not miss the internet.

Well I think I was an addict long before we could use it unlimited through DSL and cable. I remember way back in the mid 90's when I was married to my first husband (1995) in Atlanta, we had got a computer from Rent-A-Center. I was so excited. We got hooked up to AOL, and that was awsome. We were looking at all sorts of things, talking to all sorts of people, making wav files, jpg files, and exploring a whole new world. Then one day I noticed my husband left for work at 2pm and when he came home from work at 9pm I was still in the same spot. Well of course I got up in between chats to feed the two children and use the bathroom, but nonetheless I had not moved. Then it really became obvious when the first phone bill came. Oh yes, gotta love those dial-up days. That bill showed that when I couldn't get a local connection I was in such need of getting online I would accept a long distance connection. Can you imagine what my phone bills were? Oh yeah, my husband was furious. So now it's 14 years, four more children, a second ex-husband, and 50 million changes in the internet later, have I changed? Heck no. Have I improved? Some. I don't spend as much time, but I do have some addicting behaviors.

internet.. I think nowadays, we can't live without it.. but I am glad I manage to get away from my com for 1 day, and I don't miss it at all.. however first thing when I got back, after all the unpacking, I started to on my laptop, and go in and check out my blogs, and of course doing all my blog post and MyLot again.. I started my internet connection when I was about 20 years od, which then started the offer of unlimited internet usage in my country. It all went off with a new PC that I buy using company subsidy, and alongside from office we are so used to the computer, therefore when I have the means of getting one, I just get myself hooked to it.. Alongside, I have change a few PCs for faster speed and of course one stolen too!
