Intercaste marriage

We don't have an official caste system in the United States (where I live), but we have a lot of class division (poor, middle class, upper class) - and sometimes it can cause tension between the families of the couples if they aren't from the same status or class; but not always. Times are constantly changing. I think that any two people who are in love should have the right to get married; and their families can just "get down or lay down", as they say. My family is middle-class and if I fell in love with someone who was from an upper-class family, I really wouldln't care what my family or his family thought of it; because their opinions really just don't MATTER. Love is love. So, to sum things up, I think inter-caste dating and marraige is 110% acceptable. I actually enjoy seeing opposites attracting to one another; it makes me feel better about the world I live in! I think it's great that we're all becoming more and more tolerant of these things that used to be taboo; it shows that we're making gradual progress.

A happy inter-caste marriage is certainly better than an unhappy same caste marriage. Only thing is we have to adjust for the change of customs and habits. Before true love, these adjustments are nothing.

i too think that a happy inter-cast marriage is much much much better than a unhappy same cast marriage, i think it depends on the thinking of the person. i am completely in favor of the inter-cast marriage as long as they are happy.
