Hi mylotters, What kind of books do you like to read, is it fiction, non-fictional, romance, crime, spiritual, religious, or what.... I like to read crime novels with a bit of romance in it.... not too dangerous and not too silly also... For non-fictional I like to read health related books or parenting, human psychology or cook books.... Basically I love to read.... How about you... what do you read?

Me...i read the classics. the mainstream new books are far too cookie cutter at times...not very gripping. now i will admit that im currently reading the last of the Golden Compass books, which can be considered a modern classic. Pullman is just an incredible modern writer...and Robin Cook is also very good. but mostly classics is what i read. Classics such as Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bonte, The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, and Great Expectations by Charles Dickens..which i will be reading more of all these authers and more as time goes on...and yes, i actually understand much of what they say...even without spark notes.

like i said, i don't like cookie cutter books like many these days are. I like intellectually engaging books. I mean when Stephenie Myer's thrash she writes becomes best sellers and major motion pictures that tells me that today's writing lacks substance. So i simply stick to the classics for the most part

Hi kkanaka, I like reading books and magazine. Before, I always buy books about detective stories, books with suspense ans thriller as their theme and some times love stories. I would just read it in one or two days, depends on the thickness of the book. Sometimes, when I start reading a good book, I just can't stop reading it. I also like books that are education and informative. Especially on parenting and cooking side. My mom, have lots of books that involve psychology. I used to read it before. But now, being busy with work and the internet, and also with my family, I can't find time to read another good book.

Currently I am reading a novel "The House at Beach", which is about the present american life, written by a female writer. In the book, various problems are listed, including office affair, children in divorce family, the old aged, etc., but all rational analysed and treated positively by the characters, ending up with a refreshing vacation at the beach. It is a informative and motivating novel.

I love to read but the books I read depend on my mood at the time I'd start reading. The books can range from literature, culinary, novels, business, economics, health and personal development...a long list of things, really, because I enjoy reading a lot.

I love to read and have (not kidding) probably over a 1000 books in our home right now. LOL! Right now Im reading Is There No Place On Earth For Me? By: Susan Sheehan. It is a non-fiction book on Mental health and it follows one womans life. Very interesting. Im also reading a few history books on the Civil War. I read everything, fiction, non-fiction, self-help, just anything. I dont read much romance thou and it has to be humorous and not the basic romance book for me to read.

Yes, I like reading, too, kkanaka. Though I seldom read now for many excuses. Generally speaking, I read two kinds of books, novel and historical. I'm interested in history. Novel, such as detective stories, love stories, and some serious subject (like Reader, an German novel.) Though I seldom read cook books, I like cooking, too. I always search cook recipe on internet directly. Haha Reading can make me calm and quiet in this noisy world. I really enjoy reading.

actually i don't like read. Reading book without picture make me dizzy. So comic is my choice of read (more likely seeing than reading). But i doesn't mean i don't read. For my life improvement, i always read a leadership skill, or social skill book. That's not my hobby, but for better life I'll do it.

I read books, but frankly i am not a regular reader. I will read only for sometimes.. I had read only college books most of the time, because i have no other choices but to read it in order to get good marks in the examinations. Apart from the college books, i read some short story books having only 4 or 5 pages stories. I am not interested in the novels. I read only novel that is harry potter first part. But i was not interested in reading the other parts as it takes more time for me to understand and also they are released as the movies in theatres.. i like to read some scientific articles in the magazines especially if it is related to the space.. Have a great day..

most of the books i read when i was younger were the romance type. i enjoy reading spy and mystery books too. yes books on do-it-yourself and parenting attract me too and i read them. i don't have much time anymore this time as much as i did when i was still younger and do not raise my family yet... the household chores and other activities occupy most of my time ... (and lately, mylot!, hahahaha)

I love to read so much. My book choices are pretty mainstream and shallow but what the heck, I enjoy reading them. I love the Harry Potter Books, The Twilight books and most romance books by Harlequin or Mills&Boon.
