Associated Content VS Ehow

Which one do you prefer the most? Associated Content or Ehow? I like Associated Content the best because they give you an upfront payments and page view monthly bonuses. I really like EHow a lot though because their page view bonuses are higher. If they gave upfront payments I would probably write for them more than Associated Content. So which one do you like the best and why? :)

Associated Content don't offer upfront payment for international members and their page view rate is pretty low. Ehow doesn't pay international members at all and that is even worst. I don't actually like reading the articles at Associated Content because of the length. When it goes to more than 3 pages I just go to another article. Don't have the time to waste on such long articles. I think this must have got something to do with the page views. The longer the article the more page views the article gets. So to answer the question which one I like : neither.

I'm not a writer but if I was, I would prolly go with AC because of the upfront payment AND I have a lot of friends that write over there. Never heard of ehow till now.

I write for both, off and on, and I make more on Associated Content. I think it depends on how you write or what you write about, as to which one makes you more money. EHow is quick and simple if I have a clear idea, but I have a hard time thinking of something that hasn't been done a million times already. With AC, I can get more creative and get a new slant on an old idea, if nothing else.

I wrote for eHow for a couple of months, but got so hideously bored with writing how-to articles and following a format that I just couldn't stand it any more. I'm not very good at writing to other people's demands, so I prefer Associated Content. I can write pretty much whatever I want, and I know that I'll almost always get an upfront payment. If an article gets turned down for upfront, I republish it as Display Only, and can still get paid something. I also like that I can offer my articles elsewhere after they slow down on Associated Content. I've learned to publish as non-exclusive, so I can reuse my work instead of giving up all rights to it. With sites like eHow, you give up all your rights, and unless you write on popular topics, you're not going to make much, so it's really not worth it.

I totally love AC. I signed up for Ehow and only wrote one article. I didn't like their format and I didn't see where they were going to pay anything, even page views, so I never wrote anything else. The first article I did turned out horrible because I didn't understand the format. Once I saw my article I decided if I ever wrote for them I would have to remember how it turns out. LOL

I like Associated Content better, because of the upfront payment, and because you can be a lot more flexible with your content you submit than with Ehow. However, when you just want to hurry up and write and be done, Ehow's standard format can turn into a plus. Like you, I think they're both great, but AC is the best :)
