How/Where did you meet your spouse/significant other?

I'm just curious to here different stories of how others met their husband/wife/significant other. I personally, against all odds, met my hubby in a dance club. Everyone kept telling me it would never work because that wasn't the right kind of place to pick up a man. Well, we proved them wrong and have been together for almost 11yrs. We dated for a little over 5yrs and we've been married just a little over 5yrs. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me and I don't think that it matters where you meet as long as you have a connection.
Anybody have a great story?

I don't understand why people base success on where you met your spouse. That has never made sense to me. Either way I met my husband on LiveLinxs, I'm sure most of you have heard of the phone chatline.
I was bored oneday and decided to hop online to see who was on and there he was waiting on me. We've been together for 5 years and haven't looked back. It's been one of the happeiest relationships I've ever experienced. Of course it took alot of hard work and dedication but what doesn't take hard work?

I was visiting some friends in Reading and we decided to go to the pub for the evening. As we walked in there was a handsome, nutty looking bloke having his hair put into pigtails by a girl and laughing.
Eventually this bloke walked over to our table and didn't leave for the rest of the night. We've been together for over seven years now.
