Ending friendship?

I told trusted friends somethings very personal and private and now it's no longer private. Whose fault? me for confiding because had i not told them, this wouldn't have happened or them for telling?

It really would depend on what you said to them for what I would do in terms of whether I could move on and still be friends with them or whether it was just a silly misunderstanding.
