Nowadays, I am not seeing many people in my place who wear wrist watches except for some ofice goers who think that wearing a wrist watch is a symbol of dignity. As we have the facility of looking the time in our cell phones, many are not interested in wearing watches. Do you wear Wrist watch? Are you depending only on watches to look time? Nowadays, I have stopped wearing wrist watch since I am using my cell phone for lookng time, setting alarm and remainders. Friends, please post your replies.

Yes
I always wear one. I wear once since a kid and never had the intention to stop.
For me there are several reason
Looking at my right hand is easier then getting my phone or PDA.
I like to have something on my hand, else they would feel so light and empty.
I think also it is a nice accesoir.
Acutally my whole family is keen on watches. My wife wears one.
My four kids (From 18 to 8) also all wear one.
They never wanted to stop :)

Hi Vin,
When I was younger I always wore a watch because I felt naked without it. I don't think I used to look at it all that often, but I did like having it on my arm. I wore it so much that in the end it completely fell apart, and I didn't get a new one as they had stopped making the one I was wearing.
More recently though I did buy a replacement because I hated having to check my phone/MP4 player to look at the time. I don't use a mobile much so it is more convenient to have a wristwatch, and since I bought a really nice looking one I have definitely noticed that has helped my confidence. In fact I am probably counted as one of those office workers who thinks it is a sign of dignity lol!
All the best,
Dranz

I am a person who is not fond of wrist watches. I don't buy many watches. Right now I have ony one watch which I bought three months ago. I have used it only for five days. I will get an irritation if I use some ornament which is not gold or silver. So, I can only go for pure leather strap watches and not the ones in aluminium or gold pated.

I do, but I don't wear a wristwatch everyday. I only do so occasionally, like on Sundays and when I am going to a party or whenever I have an appointment to keep.
Like you, I also use my cellphone to tell time, alarms and reminders.

I *always* wear a watch and feel naked if I forget. This was especially when I wore a big chunky watch. I feel that it's such a big hassle to pull out a phone and look at the time, whereas glancing at your wrist is a lot simpler and quicker. I will always wear a watch and am sad if they "go out of fashion", which I think is fairly unlikely.
