I know that there have been many cases where parents killed their children, but it still is shocking when I hear about these kind of things. Here a mother has been accused of stabbing her 16 and 13 year old daughters while they were sleeping. Now the defense want to argue that she has "diminished responsibility" for this attack as they claim that she was suffering from abnormality of the mind when the attack occurred. There is a theory that she got jealous that the kids were spending too much time with her ex-husband's new partner's girlfriend. What do you think about that? That very saddening.

its hard to believe that a mom can do this.. chances are that these daughters must have caused her immense pain for her to take a decision like this... no sane mother will ever do this to her children thx

I am sorry but I cannot BELIEVE that you said this! I don't care what her daughters did to her, there is NOTHING that a child could do to deserve being stabbed in their sleep. I sincerly hope that you have NO children and if you do, HEAVEN help them if they get on your bad side. Are you trying to CONDONE what this crazy women did. WHO CARES WHO THE KIDS SPEND TIME WITH, there is still no reason for the mother to kill them. Not only that but the fact that these people say that her responsibility for the matter is lessened by her mental condition is ridiculous. I think that when people plead temp insantity, it is just a way for them to get off easy for whatever horrible crime they have commited and this is NO exception. This women should be locked away for the rest of her life with no chance of parole. I also believe that anyone who feels even slightly sorry for this crazy mother, should seriously consider getting some help. How can anyone even think of making excuses for her, you should be ashamed of yourself. I have two daughters and they could set my hair on fire and I would never dream of killing them. I might ground them for life but that would be it. SHAME ON YOU.

It's really sad to think that a mother could do this sort of thing to her own children. It's really unbelievable. Despite the fact that I know that this sort of event occurs, it still saddens when I hear of these situations. It's difficult to believe that these things happen, sometimes.

This is one of the shocking news i ever heard. I dont know what to say about it. Mothers are known for being so loving and kind to their children no matter how behavior the children show to the parents themselves. Its about mental problems i can bravely say. happy mylotting and smile always!

That is a sad case. I think she was in not her right mind. I find it's hard to believe if there's any mother capable of hurting her own children if she is sane (though maybe there is people like this in this world) But whatever it is, she really need serious help. There's no telling what she might do in the future.

Whatever be the reason or provocation i don't think this sort of a response is warranted. No sane or normal person would have resorted to opting for this course of action.
