When it's time for you to do your hair in hair salon, do you always have the same hair styler to do it? Or it doesn't matter who do it anyway? I found out sometimes when another hair styler do my hair is like gambling, it come up good sometimes or it come up "not so good" From now on, i try to always get the same person to do it. She already know how I like it, so I don't have to explain anymore..LOL

i find i have not been in the hair salon for a long time. i know the male need to go to the hair salon to cut hair many times in a year, but not the same for the female. i seldom go to the same hair salon more than twice, lol... and when i want to go to any hair salon, i'll first ask my friends who is the best one there, and then i'll appoint him/her to do my hair.lol..

[bHi yolanda19191[/b] Long time not to see you here! So I guess you have many experience in salon, since you have tried many salon,,hehe.. Why yoy rarely visit the same salon twice? If you've found a good hair styler there, will you leave that salon too?

Hi ibuemma! I already have shoulder length hair and that is curly at the base so they tend to look shorter than they are. And whenever I get a hair cut my hair gets very shorter so I absolutely avoid taking any chances on my hair. Because my hair has no scope for second chance... lol... I prefer to go to the same hair stylist every time I visit the salon. recently my hair stylist shifted from the usual place and settled out of town and I was in a real dilemma for a hair cut! Now I haven't had a cut from a long time and I am searching for a good hair-stylist who would be as good as her... Also I prefer the same hair style every time because it really suits me so am really keeping my finger crosses before going to a new hair stylist....

Yes as long as I am satisfied with the job and I'm glad I found a Thai hairdresser here in the UK and she can even come to my house. It's good if you have only one person who does your haircut because you don't have to explain so much like in my case. I'm very particular with haircut and even if my hair is long I want someone who understands exactly what I want.

I know what you mean. So it's really good to have one hairdresser whom you can trust and knows exactly what is good for your hair.

Yes, I do always have the same person to cut my hair. That's myself . Some time ago, I bought a set of hair clippers and because my hair is curly, it stay in any set style, so I just run the clippers over it, brush it back and that's it. A good, cheap haircut. - Derek

I have two mirrors, and put one behind me at an angle and can see the back of my head quite easily then. It takes a little time to get used to it, but I manage it quite well now and the back of my hair comes out fine. - Derek

Hi Well, though i am not much concernm about it. bit one thing is for sure that i go to same hair saloon when ever i need my hair cut, and there are 3 person over there, so i dont mind if any of them cut my hairs, as all know what to do without telling me. Other thing, i just need simple cut, LOl

I used to change from one hair stylist to another. Sometimes it is OK, and most of the time are not. But this changed after my friend opened her own hair saloon. She's so good in creating a hair style that suits my face. From that time, until now, I'll go to her saloon for hair cut. It's been 2 years already and never had my bad hair cut ever since.

You work the other way around. So, you've been friend first and then she open her own place. That work nice.

I've tried so many hair stylists I can't even think how many ways my hair has been over the last year. Its really short now, so I hope I can go a while without needing to go to a salon.

I prefer to cut my own hair half way and then let just about any hair stylist trim the back that I can't get to, and since they are only cutting the back the chances of messing it up are not very high! lol

no, but i do go to the same place to get my haircut. they have a pool of stylists and i know the owner and she is usually the one that does my hair but not always. i usually only get a trim anyways.

Even when I get only trim, if somebody else do it, it still won't come up the same.

It seems to work this way for me. Everytime I go for a haircut I end up with the same person. Its not bad, though. She's a nice girl and we're getting to be friends and chummy with each other.

I would like the same person to cut my hair usually. If not, like you said, feels like gambing, furthermore, I feel a little uncomfortable with a strange person to cut my hair. So I always go to the same barbershop and have the same barber cut my hair. By the way, I don't really like to have a haircut, so I don't go to the barbershop until my hair is too long.

I am very lucky because one of my best friend's boyfriend's is a hairdresser and he cuts my hair for free! I hate going to salons and they are so expensive, so this is a great result for me!

Really? always for free? That's awesome. In here I have to spend at least $25 to get a hair cut. It will cost more if I want to dye the hair or do something else.

I would really like to but unfortunately I travel and can't have the same person cutting my hair. If given the choice, I would have the same stylist who has been cutting my hair since I was 16. The others after her are just mediocre or I end up being not completely pleased with my cut.

Yeah and then when I was back where my stylist was at, I visited the salon and she changed her day off. So I missed her and wasn't able to get a cut from her. Talk about bad luck.

To me is better having one hair stylist.I have been looking for the one to keep,so far i always go to a different one trying to find one that is really good.Have to say that there is a lot stylist and do not know how to do their job.I recommend that if you have found one you like do not go to a different one.It is not a good feeling when you have someone messing up your hair.

Yes, I always go to the same hairdresser, but for me that falls in the same category as going to the dentist! I need to go every two or three months, but I don't like it one little bit! Most times I have to finish the cut by myself later, but going to a different one would be even worse, so I keep returning.

Yes I always have the same stylist cut my hair. I wear a short "pixie" cut and the cut is very important. One time my stylist was out sick so I did use another stylist.....NEVER again. I got a horrible chopped off look and it took forever for it to grow out!

Hi! I have my favorite hair stylist to cut my hair. Everytime he cuts my hair, it looks good :). Even when my hair grew longer, the shape didn't look messy and didn't change much. However, since the salon is far from where I live now, I don't go there anymore :(, and since then I have difficulties in finding a good one. It's not that there's no good hair stylist around, but I find that s/he cannot make my hair still looks good if it's grow longer. Thus, I have to go to salon more often, don't I? Happy mylotting :)

I experienced that one time too. First day that I got the cut, looks good. Two weeks later when it grew little longer, look like disaster. Hate that

The thing that I don't like sometimes there's really a person that just 'graduate' from hair styling school. If you found the one that really talented it's ok, but if not...it will be disappointing

ah, good question, my answer is 'YES', I usually go to the same hair salon, and asking the same barber to style my hair, I won't change even the barber not in salon that day, I will leave and come again next day.
