Hello everyone..It's 9/9/09! It only happened once in a century, and lots of weddings held in the city since they say it is a good date!
Fun facts about 9! Everytime you multiply 9 with a number, then it will generate a result of which if you add every number in it, it also result in 9!
Example:
9 x 7 = 63, 6+3=9!
9 x 72 = 648, 6 + 4 + 8 = 18, 1 + 8 = 9!

The trivia you shared about multiplying 9 and the resulting numbers being add up also equals to 9 is something that I already know for long. 
Anyways, it was fun of you sharing it since it amazed me too the first time I learned about it. Anyways, 9/9/9 is a rare occurrence and we'd have to wait for several more years before something like this could happen again or other milestones. One particularly "rare" date i could remember was way back in January 4, 2003 when someone greeted me because the date in shortcut meant 1-4-3. I know it's cheesy but that I think is far more rare!

Haha. 143 actually stands for "I Love you" which is why my friend greeted me with that lovely phrase. it's probably one of those rare moments and I doubt if we could experience that date again. and if that happens again, we'd probably no longer alive by then to commemorate it.

It's only 9/8 here in California.
Two years ago on 7/7/07 I was in Las Vegas, and I never saw so many weddings.
Myself I'm not much for odd numbers, so I would have liked 8/8/08 much better. :-)
No special events, just school for the kids and work for me!

I believe it's 9/9 right now there, am I right? For Chinese, 8 is good numbers, so last year there were also lots and lots of wedding happened at that time. I also have no special events today, just going through the same thing as usual..Work! work! Work! LOL. Thanks for the response dawnald

in our place I don't know it's always raining so I guess there is no event... but thanks for the info I like nine in my past but now I don't I love 21. heheh!

the number nine is fine. I have used the nunber 9 for user names. there was no patualar event held my my town that day.

I hadn't really thought about it, but what you showed is very interesting. My daugther likes the number 9, that's what she wanted her number to be for soccer. Personally my favorite numbers are 13 and 17
