I guess everyone has seen this Spielberg classic. " ET phone home" was the faint battle cry of this lost alien. The bicycles climbing scene into the blue skies and the moonlit night sky rides was truly spellbinding. Only Spielberg could spin this magic. The music is hauntingly catchy too. I love ET. Any comments from those who have seen it either in the cinema the first time around or on DVD?

I like E.T. although I did not believe he could do all the things he was shown to do. It was a very good movie about how people imagine our contact with extra-terrestrials would be with them being almost like gods in their power, having the ability to manipulate things, etc. I liked the part when they went Trick and Treating and they disguised E.T. It has been a long time since I saw it, I cannot recall the name of the boy. I think it was Lawrence, but not too sure. ET phone home.....

Oh my. The last time I saw the movie was more than 10 years ago! If I'm not mistaken, the last time I watched it, I was just around 6 or 7 years old. "ET phone home" will forever be etched in my mind. ET is a movie that never fails to be a major tearjerker. People of all ages could easily empathize with the characters on screen. I will never forget Drew Barrymore's scream when she first saw ET. She was so cute, screaming with such a shrill voice, with her tongue out. I agree, ET is truly spellbinding, and equally awe-inspiring. Even at such a tender age, I was able to grasp the theme of the movie. I don't think there are any movies that are just as poignant or heart-warming as this movie nowadays. I long for movies like ET! Which reminds me, I've got to look for a copy of ET :) I miss watching it!

Hi, 'ET phone home' is still fresh in my memory! I enjoyed this 'alien' movie the most, I would say the best and most memorable one...it has a magic touch in it! In Universal Studio in California, there is this ride :- ET Ride. As we entered, we are to key in our name at the entrance. It is dark and then we are guided on to a two seater bicycle. The bycle will slowly went up and we can see night stars all over the sky, the ET music is on. The winds blows and the ride is absolutely fun and 'spellbinding', it brought us into the movie! At the end of the ride, ET will bid us goodby by saying our name! A wonderful and memorable experience!
