What kind of cost cutting or efficiency has been done in your company?

lots of cost-saving measures can be implemented: 1) airconditioners and lights may be switched off at lunch breaks and also, maybe 30 minutes before the office is closed (in the case of aircon); 2) leaking faucets should be repaired; 3) computers to be switched on when work demands using it; 4) office supplies should be monitored; used bond papers may be used as scratch papers on the other clean side; 5) telephone calls should be monitored and if there is a need to do a long distance or overseas call, make a prior list of things to be brought up over the phone to avoid calling again; 6) paper clips should be recycled and not thrown away with the used documents and the list goes on and on and each staff has his share to help the company in the cost-saving measures.

Well, there are only two of us in the office so there is really no need to cut the cost... but i do try to give my share... like using the aircontioning only when i have meeting or visitor in the office... so on ordinary warm days... i just use the electric fan... and the cost of electricity would only be like $18 a month instead of the usualy $25...
