My family spend Sunday lunch together. We all bring something to the lunch table, I'm usually in charge of dessert. How about you? How do you spend your family get together?

my parents and other members of my family live in the province, which is 3 hours from the city where we live. we used to have sunday breakfast, lunch and sometimes supper together with members of the family of my late husband. when he left us, a family misunderstanding unfortunately happened and the family relationship with my husband was broken until this time. things happen and things will become better on its own. i am leaving things to happen on its own.... maybe, in God's own time.

our whole family comes together only in marriages and meet one another there. there is no meeting in between but sometimes if anyone is ill or seriously ill then many family members come to meet.

Why only in these circumstances do you meet? How come you don't gather together to have a Sunday meal or something, even without any occasion?

Oh it's so fun! It's like this, starts with eating and then chatting, a bit of singing and dancing sometimes, and then eating again, and oh A lot of laughing. Many people really thinks that are family loves to share jokes or we even make fun with each other, we usually stay up late just eating/drinking and laughing hard! Oh... I miss My uncles, aunties and cousins.

Well, when my immediate family, my kids, husband and myself, have dinner we bring conversation to the table. It is a very nice time to get together and discuss things. And, it's one of the few times I can actually sit down with my teens and spend some time with them. When my other family gets together, meaning my mother and sister, brother, or my inlaws, we bring something else to the table, arguments! Oh, that isn't one of my favorite things to do because someone is always starting a fight! It is terrible, therefore, it does not happen that often!

On family get together we (that's my mom, dad and me) go and visit my grandma who lives with my father's younger brother. I meet with my cousins and we enjoy a lot. We go and sit on the roof of the house and there we stare at the stars for hours talking about all the topics on the earth....lol... And then a call for dinner comes from the house and we have dinner (which is scrumptious!).. After dinner the whole family sits together and we all share talks, laugh a lot and our grandma tells us stories of my father and uncles when they were kid. That's how our whole g3et-together goes...

Family get-together used to happen in our place when we were still young. Mom would cook lunch and aunties and cousins come and bring some food as well. But this does not happen anymore when we got older because everybody started to have busy schedules. So family get-together now happens 'once in a blue moon' whenever there's a special occasion. The same thing here in my husband's family.
